SOFTHEARTED
group exhibition at the Kunstquartier Bethanien – Berlin
14.01. – 20.01.2024
Tender empathy, reflective courage and visions full of humor: The exhibition “Softhearted” shows powerful works by young, freelance artists. Brought together for the first time as part of a grant from the Alfred Toepfer Foundation in the summer of 2022, not only the artists but also their works now enter into an empathetic dialog about how creative existence is shaped and transformed by resonance and diverse discourses. Themes, voices and forms of expression merge into a multi-layered mosaic of artistic reflection. From subtle delicacy to thunderous echo, the gathering of works presents a variety of perspectives and narratives, inviting us to explore the nuances of the human and the creative.
