The monotype printing technique appeared in Italy. It is non-reproducible and is close to painting while using the process of printing under a press. It is this technique that I have been using for several months because it offers me infinite possibilities. It allows me to draw directly, to find the pleasure of the gesture and the line. When I draw, it is only the moment that counts, that is important. Sometimes I close my eyes to feel the pencil running over the paper, to feel my hand moving. These are sometimes straight lines, sometimes light and flexible, rigid or cold. These lines speak of the fluidity of a movement. They are not here to be right or to justify something. They are not here to say something. They are simply here to be here.
