Where concrete bites

Where concrete bites presents an assemblage of forms on the floor, composed of simple materials: cork, leather, fabric, paper and metal. The installation explores the tension between lightness and anchorage, between lines and volumes. Each element seems at once poised and suspended, caught in a precarious equilibrium. Materials respond to each other by contrast or affinity, tracing a sensitive path between discreet gestures, textures and fragments. The floor becomes a terrain of apparition, a space of attention to the power relationships between body, material and space.
